subsidiaries Great American Life®, Annuity Investors® Life and Loyal American
Life as "A (Excellent); Outlook Stable" based on "a comprehensive quantitative
and qualitative evaluation of balance sheet strength, operating performance and
profile."6
Many achievements of GAFRI's insurance subsidiaries played a key role in earning
this A.M. Best rating and Stable Outlook, including the following:
• Highest level of capital to date;
